Manchester United's star striker Robin van Persie is set to be sidelined for about a month with a thigh injury, according to manager David Moyes.
The Netherlands international suffered the injury when he took the corner which led to the winning goal from Phil Jones in the club's 1-0 victory over Ukrainian outfit Shakther Donetsk in the midweek clash in the Champions League.<br />
Moyes has revealed that his star striker will be out until the New Year.<br />
"Robin van Persie is out as well for a month," He said. "He picked up a thigh strain in taking a corner kick which led to the goal.<br />
"It's unfortunate because I think if you look at our record with Wayne Rooney and Robin in the team, it is actually very good and we have not had them for quite a period recently."<br />
Van Persie who has been hampered by minor injuries this season, has amassed 10 goals for Red Devils in all competitions.
