Golan wants England move

19 November 2007 - 22:07

The Israeli striker who score the winner against Russia, Omer Golan, admits he's chasing a move to Premiership and hopes his goal will have been helping him be noticed by Premiership scouts.

  • Man Utd believe they can sign Bournemouth star for £64m
  • Chelsea tipped to make shock move for Marcus Rashford
  • Golan said: "Most of all I did it for our team and our fans, but if it makes people in England happy, then I'm pleased. I want England to qualify and so do all my team-mates in the Israel side.

"My dream since I was a boy has been to play in the Premier League and I hope that what the clubs have seen today will help me fulfil that dream."

Omer Golan will earn himself a Mercedes from bookmaker Betfred after securing the three points that will help England a step closer to the Euro 2008 tournament.
