Man Utd manager David Moyes has told Chelsea that they are destined to fail in their pursuit of Wayne Rooney. The striker will not be sold and has been told that the club want to keep him at Old Trafford for life.
When asked whether or not Moyes would be offering a new contract to Rooney, the Scot replied: "The club will deal with that. They will do all the things they need to do, no question."<br />
Chelsea have long been linked with a move for Wayne Rooney as the Blues continue to struggle to find the right striker to ease their goalscoring worries. Manchester United have categorically ruled out selling Rooney to a Premier League rival.
