Tottenham and Brazil international midfielder Paulinho admits that he is flattered to have been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but told reporters that he is completely focused on his role at White Hart Lane.
Real Madrid have a reputation for poaching the best players from Spurs over the years, as Gareth Bale joined the Spanish club last summer and the season prior to that completed a deal to sign Croatian midfielder Luka Modric.
Brazilian international Paulinho is the newest name to have been linked with Real, but the talented midfielder has rejected talk of a move to Spain for the time being.
"I leave these matters with my agent, but without doubt it is good recognition for any player to be coveted by a club with the history of Real Madrid," said Paulinho.
"My head, however, is completely focused on returning to play and win at Tottenham."
