Arsenals probable starting 11 vs Crystal Palace

Arsenal's probable starting 11 vs Crystal Palace

02 February 2014 - 11:46

Arsenal face off against fellow Londoners Crystal Palace at the Emirates later today knowing that three points will take them to the top of the Premier League table.

  • Arsenal preparing third bid for Spanish star
  • Chelsea ready to sell Christopher Nkunku to Man Utd for £35m?

  • The North London outfit could have a two-point advantage until Monday, with title favourites Manchester City playing hosts to Chelsea at the Etihad.

Arsenal will be without Mathieu Flamini for the clash, as he starts the first of his three match ban, following his red card against Southampton for his two footed lunge on Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Gunners are likely to have a similar defensive setup to that used for much of the season with Kieran Gibbs back in for Nacho Monreal.

Arteta and Tomas Rosicky will play the midfield role, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla playing infront of them.

Olivier Giroud is set to feature as the lone striker with Lukas Podolski to come in late if needed.

Lineup : Szczesny; Sagna, Gibbs, Mertesacker, Koscielny; Arteta, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Cazorla; Giroud
