Arsenal are reportedly in preliminary talks with Real Madrid's legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas over a summer transfer, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
The talented shot-stopper has failed to play a single minute of La Liga football under manager Carlo Ancelloti this season, with Diego Lopez prefered for the number one role.
In spite of featuring for Los Blancos in the Champions League and Copa del Rey, it is understood that the 32-year-old is keen on a switch way from the La Liga giants in the summer.
According to AS, the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is unsure of Wojciech Szczesny's reliability as the club's number one, and will make a summer move for the Spain captain with back-up options Lukasz Fabianski and Emiliano Viviano set to leave the North London club at the end of the season.
