Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed speculation suggesting that the club are plotting a mega-money deal for Barcelona's Legendary striker Lionel Messi in the summer.
Reports from the Spanish Media revealed that the Citizens were ready to trigger the Argentine's release clause in the upcoming transfer window.
However, The Daily Mail claims that the Chilean manager has refuted the transfer link by raising his eyebrows, smiling and saying: "Just rumours."
Lionel Messi is believed to have a release clause of more than £165m.
