Manchester United are reportedly planning to offer out-of-favour striker Javier Hernandez on a swap deal for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon in the summer, according to The Daily Mail.

  • The report claims that the Red Devils boss David Moyes has been a huge admirer of the 26-year-old's talents, and will make a move for his services at the end of the season.

Lennon has found it hard to cement his place in the starting line-up under manager Tim Sherwood since the turn of the year, with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Andros Townsend and Nacer Chadli all preferred ahead of him in the pecking order.

With the former Leeds United man likely to leave the North London club in the summer, a switch to the Red Devils could be an ideal opportunity to revive his career.
