Manchester United are reportedly readying a club-record fee of £40m to secure the services of one of Germany's finest talents.
According to The Mirror, Bayern Munich, who have recently dismissed claims linking star midfielder Toni Kroos with an exit from the club, could be swayed by the mega transfer offer made by the Red Devils.
Manager David Moyes is expected to be given a huge transfer kitty of around £120m to spend during the summer transfer window, as he prepares to remove some of the dead wood in the club's ranks at the end of the season.
It is understood that the reigning Premier League champions could land the signature of the talented German international, as Bayern would not want to lose Kroos on a free transfer in the summer of 2015.
Manchester United are believed to be ready to offload the likes of Anderson, Nani, Alexander Buttner and Javier Hernandez in the summer.
