Arsenal and Liverpool to move for Bayern ace

Muller heading for Bayern exit?

Arsenal and Liverpool to move for Bayern ace

08 May 2014 - 15:01

Premier League duo of Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly set to battle it out for the services of Bayern Munich star forward Thomas Muller this summer, according to Kicker.

  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip
  • Gabriel Magalhaes to sign new Arsenal deal

  • The German international has casted doubts over his future, following manager Pep Guardiola's decision to start him on the bench during the club's first-leg semi-final encounter against Real Madrid in the Champions League last month.

Kicker claims that the talented German star is unwilling to play under Guardiola for the next campaign, and will consider a summer switch to the Premier League.

Arsenal and Liverpool are tracking the player's situation and a fee in the region of £25m could be sufficient to land his services during the summer transfer window.

Muller has bagged 25 goals in 49 matches for the Bavarian giants in all competitions this season.
