  • Giroud has proved to be an important member of Arsenal's squad last season and helped his club to FA Cup success, ending a nine year trophyless run for the club.

Since arriving at the Emirates Stadium from Montpellier, the forward has proven to be one of Arsenal's most important and well liked players and has even kept the likes of Lukas Podolski out of the first team.

With just two years remaining on his current contract, Arsenal are hoping to tie the Frenchman down to a new deal quickly.
