The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is understood to be keen on strengthening the club's setup on all fronts, and the club are now set to launch a summer offer for the Saints pairing.

According to Goal.com, the North London outfit are pondering a £30m offer for the talented duo, but will hold off from making the bid, until they discover if Barcelona striker Alexis Sanchez is interested in a switch to the Emirates.

Sanchez's future at the Catalan giants is still in doubt, with Liverpool keen on signing the Chile international as part of deal for Luis Suarez.
