Galatasaray chasing Arsenal forward Podolski

Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski is wanted by Turkish side Galatasaray. Having won the World Cup with Germany just last month, the striker is currently on holiday but apparently when he returns he will be told he is free to leave the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger, who has been relatively busy this summer having already agreed a deal to sign Alexis Sanchez, is said to be deciding who from his squad will be free to leave.

With intense competition for places at Arsenal, Podolski is amongst those players linked with a transfer exit.

The German international is wanted by Galatasaray and the Turkish club will pay a reported 10 million euros plus to secure a deal for the German.
