Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are reportedly set to join the pursuit for Germany\'s World Cup winner, according to a report.

According to The Metro, Bayern boss Pep Guardiola is keen on signing a top-class midfielder during the current transfer window, as he aims to cover up the loss of Javi Martinez due to a long-term injury.
Reports earlier revealed that Los Blancos could allow the German international leave the club for as little as £8m, and this is thought to have attracted interest from the Bavarian giants.
Arsenal have also shown interest in signing the talented midfielder over the past month.
