Arsenal are understood to be open to the sale of World Cup winner Lukas Podolski to Galatasaray this summer, according to The Sun.

The Gunners have boosted their attack front by signing Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona earlier in the summer.

According to The Sun, the North London club are willing to offload the German international, with Turkish giants Gala said to be interested in the 29-year-old's services.

The departure of Podolski could provide the perfect platform for Joel Campbell to shine at the Emirates in the seasons to come.

Podolski joined the Gunners from Cologne in the summer of 2011.
