Striker Alvaro Negredo could make a transfer deadline day return to Spain, with Real Madrid set to make a 12 million euro bid for the 29-year-old. Man City are ready to sell their fourth choice forward.

  • According to reports, Carlo Ancelotti the Real Madrid manager wants to sign a new striker and has identified Negredo as the best available option.

    Currently playing fourth choice at the Etihad Stadium behind Steven Jovetic, Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero; Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini could be ready to sell Negredo at a cut price.

    Numerous teams have been linked with the Spain international striker and talks will begin with Real Madrid this afternoon over a potential move away for Negredo.
