Italian giants Juventus are understood to have placed Manchester United's Juan Mata as their top transfer target for the winter transfer window.
Mata's future at Old Trafford is currently uncertain following the arrivals of Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao to the club during the latter stages of the summer transfer window.
Recent reports have revealed that manager Louis van Gaal could be forced to bench the former Chelsea star, in order to provide sufficient game-time to the likes of Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao in the striking department.
According to Turin-based publication TuttoSport, Juve want the talented midfielder to join United targets in Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal in their midfield setup.
