Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic is rumoured to have flown in to England this morning to discuss terms with Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers is hoping to snap up his second midfielder of the summer.
Hot on the heels of the acquisition of James Milner, Liverpool are now set to make a move for Inter Milan starlet Mateo Kovacic in a deal worth an estimated 18 million euros.
The Croatian international played in 42 games last season and proved to be one of Roberto Mancini's most important players.
The 21-year-old, who currently has 19 caps for his country, has two years remaining on his contract and has been earmarked as a potential replacement for the outgoing Steven Gerrard.
