Manchester City will try to offer Arsenal the option of signing one of their out-of-favour striker to seal a deal for Jack Wilshere this summer.

The Citizens are expected to make way with the likes of Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo in the summer, with manager Manuel Pellegrini content with having Wilfried Bony and Sergio Aguero upfront.

According to The Telegraph, City could make a player-plus-cash deal for the England international, with the Gunners having the opportunity to pick up one of the three strikers being put up for sale.

Wilshere scored his first two goals for England as they beat Slovenia by a 3-0 margin in the European qualifiers.
