Liverpool are understood to have reached an agreement with Southampton over the signing of defender Nathaniel Clyne.
Clyne has been tipped to leave the Saints this summer following the arrival of new right-back Cedric Soares from Sporting Lisbon.
The Reds have been in negotiations with the South Coast outfit over a transfer fee in recent weeks, and it has now been confirmed that the clubs have come to terms on a £12.5m transfer fee.
The England international will be Liverpool's sixth signing for the summer, having already agreed deals in principle for Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, Adam Bogdan, James Milner, and Roberto Firmino.
