The Red Devils have already signed the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian and Memphis Depay during the summer transfer window.

However, reports in Germany cites that the Mancunian giants will look to follow up the signing of Schweinsteiger, by bringing in his former teammate Robert Lewandowski to Old Trafford.

It is added that Lewandowski is a part of Van Gaal\'s shortlist. which also includes Real Madrid\'s Karim Benzema, and Paris Saint-Germain\'s Edinson Cavani.

Lewandowski joined the Bavarian giants from Borussia Dortmund on a free last summer.
