Chelsea captain John Terry is hopeful that the Stamford Bridge club will offer him an extension to his current contract for a further two years. The 34-year-old is out of contract next summer but is already hoping that a new contract will be agreed.
Terry has been one of Chelsea\'s greatest players and is keen to extend his current deal even if Jose Mourinho sees him as nothing more than a bit part player in the future. The recent good form of Kurt Zouma appears to have reduced Terry\'s chances of regular playing time.
Terry is to agree a 150,000 GBP a week contract extension at Stamford Bridge.
