Manchester United are hopeful that they can land the services of Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben following a feud with Robert Lewandowski.

  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • The Netherlands international is said to be considering his future at the Bavarian giants following an altercation with Lewandowski over claims that he is too selfish.

According to The Mirror, United will look to make the most of the opportunity and lure the former Chelsea man back to the Premier League in the New Year.

It is added that Robben's fruitful relationship with Louis van Gaal could play a major part in the potential transfer.

Robben was part of Van Gaal's Dutch side that finished third at the World Cup finals last year.
