Samir Nasri is unwanted at Manchester City and the Premier League club will look to offload the midfielder should they receive an offer of £17 million this summer, according to reports.
Sky Sports is reporting that Nasri does not figure in new manager Pep Gualrdiola's plans for next season, and the Frenchman will be offloaded if a buyer can be found.
It is reported that, having returned from holiday overweight, Nasri has been made to train with the reserves in recent weeks, and Guardiola does not see a place for the former Marseille player at the Etihad.
Nasri joined City from Arsenal in 2011 for £24 million and has played 170 games for the club, helping them win two Premier League titles as well as the FA Cup.
Guardiola has been extremely busy in the transfer market since joining the club from Bayern Munich this summer.
The Catalan tactician had already brought in playmaker Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund, teenage midfielder Alexandr Zinchenko from FC Ufa, Spanish winger Nolito from Celta de Vigo, 20-year-old German forward Leroy Sané from Schalke 04 and 19-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras (who will move to Manchester in January).
City are now thought to be focussing their efforts on the capture of a central defender. Having been linked with a move for Juventus' Leonardo Bonucci, they seem set to sign Everton's John Stones.
