Belgian international Radja Nainggolan has highlighted his intention to stay at Roma after he agreed terms over a fresh contract. The midfielder was the prime target for the Blues in the transfer window before the Giallorossi ruled out his sale.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea and Inter Milan are keeping tabs on the player's situation having missed out on his services in the summer transfer window.
However, the 28-year-old remains focussed on his job at the Italian outfit, and has verbally agreed to pen a fresh contract. Luciano Spalletti's side will offer the Belgian with a four-year deal with the option of an additional year.
Blues boss Antonio Conte has pursued Nainggolan since his time at Juventus, but a move looks highly unlikely with the 28-year-old willing to stay put in the Italian capital.
Nainggolan has racked over 100 appearances for Roma till date.
