Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will reportedly cash in on Vincent Kompany when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The Belgian international has had his injury worries over the past year, and this has seen him spend an extended time on the sidelines.
According to The Mirror, Pep is expecting a massive clear-out from the Etihad this summer, and this includes the likes of Kompany, Yaya Toure and Pablo Zabaleta.
Kompany has not made a league appearance since his calf injury earlier in the campaign, and Pep is reluctant to play him unless he can prove his fitness in training.
The likes of Aymeric Laporte and Ben Gibson are being lined up as potential recruits to boost the defence, and they could be a wholesale of players moving in and out of the club in the next transfer window.
Pep is also expecting to make changes in the full-back department with Bacary Sagna, Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov all expected to leave at the expiry of their contracts this summer.
