Sean Dyche could reportedly end his long-term association with Burnley amid the managerial vacancy at Crystal Palace.

  • Arsenal linked with new shotstopper as backup to Raya

  • The Eagles are yet to recruit a new head coach to their ranks after Sam Allardyce decided to surprisingly step down from his position last month despite guiding them to Premier League safety.

Frank de Boer and Mauricio Pellegrino have been associated with the Eagles role in recent weeks, but according to The London Evening Standard, the 45-year-old is keen to hold discussions over the role.

Dyche is currently the seventh longest-serving manager in England after having spent four and a half years with the Clarets, who he led to top-flight survival last season. As per Evening Standard, the Eagles will have to pay a sum of around £1m in order free Dyche from his Burnley deal.

Burnley managed to maintain an excellent home record last term in order to avoid the Premier League drop, but they may have to work harder in the coming season with the likes of Michael Keane and Andre Gray linked with potential moves away from Turf Moor.
