Arsenal receive massive injury boost ahead of Watford clash

12 October 2017 - 21:13

Arsenal have received a major injury boost ahead of their Premier League clash versus Watford at Vicarage Road.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • According to Football.London, Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck are likely to make the matchday squad having made timely returns from a knee and groin injury respectively.

Meanwhile, Laurent Koscielny and Sead Kolasinac face late fitness tests for the Hornets game, with the latter having more of a chance of making the starting lineup.

Francis Coquelin is also expected to be deemed fit after having recovered from a hamstring problem sustained in the 3-0 win over Bournemouth earlier last month.

Arsene Wenger will presumably have all his options available in the attack front, and this will surely bring up a selection headache with Welbeck having shone in the early part of the campaign.

The Frenchman confirmed earlier on Thursday that he will assess the mental situation of Alexis Sanchez, and the Chilean could be one of the key players, who could drop to the bench for the Saturday clash.
