Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial could make a surprise switch to the Spanish La Liga this month with Sevilla keen on his signature.
The France international has dropped down the pecking order at Old Trafford since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January and his future still remains a question with his contract expiring at the end of the campaign.
According to Marca, Sevilla are aiming to lure Martial to the club before the Spanish transfer window closes on August 31. However, they may propose only a season-long loan for the Frenchman as they are unlikely to come anywhere close to his £70m valuation.
Despite this, the United hierarchy are likely to snub any offers for Martial for the timebeing, given they do not have the luxury of the transfer window to find a quick replacement.
The English transfer window slammed shut before the start of the new Premier League campaign and United may not take the risk of offloading Martial, who remains a valuable game-changer from the bench.
