Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson has said that he is 'very happy' at Hoffenheim but he remains unsure where he could ply his trade beyond the current campaign.

  • Arsenal make surprise decision on Viktor Gyokeres
  • Arsenal to battle Napoli to sign Alexsandro Ribeiro?

  • The Gunners graduate made his breakthrough under the guidance of Arsene Wenger last term and he went on to make 16 appearances across all competitions.

With the new season, many expected him to fight for a regular role at the Emirates Stadium but new manager Unai Emery thought otherwise and decided to send him on a season-long loan.

Since then, the young Englishman has found success with four goals from just five league appearances and he has now express his contentment after sealing the temporary move.

"At the moment I'm very happy here," he told the Bundesliga's official website. "I'm playing, I'm scoring, but I'm an Arsenal player at the end of the day, so I have to stay and do my job here. Then wherever football takes me I'll go."

At present, Alex Iwobi and Danny Welbeck have been utilised from the bench to fill in the wide positions at Arsenal but doubts regarding the latter's future indicate that Nelson may earn regular gametime with the Gunners in the forthcoming seasons.
