AC Milan are reportedly confident of striking a winter move for Cesc Fabregas despite the Spaniard recently indicating that he may not leave the Blues until next summer.
Fabregas presently has just seven months remaining on his existing deal and so far, talks are yet to proceed with the hierarchy regarding a probable extension beyond then.
Amidst this, he has been linked with the Rossoneri on a regular basis and Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that the Spaniard could still join the San Siro outfit at the turn of the year.
Fabregas has regularly cited that he has no ambition of leaving the Blues midway through the campaign but the club could yet be tempted to sanction his sale this winter with the Rossoneri planning a £10m offer.
Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid have also been linked with the former Arsenal and Barcelona star, who has yet to make a Premier League start under Maurizio Sarri since he took over the reigns.
