Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly facing the compulsion to sell Manchester United target Christian Eriksen amid the recent debt accrued from the construction of their new stadium.
The north London side recently made their belated switch to their new £1bn home but the move has created financial concerns as they owe as much as £650m to banks in the next five years.
According to Diario AS, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will seek to raise some funds from the sale of players and Eriksen is one of those, who could head through the exit door with his contract expiring in 14 months' time.
Spurs belatedly moved into their new £1bn home earlier this month and are on a five-year financing agreement with the bank in order to repay almost £650m.
Both Manchester United and Real Madrid have been credited with an interest in Eriksen, and Spurs are said to have placed a £95m price tag on his head ahead of the summer transfer window.
Alongside Trippier, contract rebel Toby Alderweireld and Kieran Trippier could be shown the exit door in the summer. Spurs are currently third on the table with 67 points on the board.
