Predicted Manchester United lineup (4-3-3) to face Huddersfield Town, Rashford and Mata start

Manchester United are scheduled to face Huddersfield Town on the road in Sunday's early Premier League kick-off.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • The Red Devils are currently three points behind Chelsea in the race for the final Champions League spot, but they still have a slender chance of making the top four, should the Blues stumble in their final two games of the season.

    Formation: 4-3-3

    Predicted Lineup:

David de Gea has gone through a difficult period between the sticks where he has made a number of goalkeeping blunders. He is still expected to feature in goal after the same was confirmed by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

In the defence, Ashley Young and Luke Shaw have remained Ole's preferred picks on the right and left-back positions and they are likely to keep their places. However, the central defence should witness a change with Eric Bailly sustaining another a long-term knee problem. In his place, Phil Jones is likely to partner Victor Lindelof with Chris Smalling said to be carrying a minor niggle.

In the midfield, Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic should maintain their places from the previous league clash against the Blues, but there are concerns regarding the fitness of Paul Pogba, who missed training. In his spot, Scott McTominay could get the nod for the Terriers clash.

In the attack front, Romelu Lukaku appears unlikely to feature with a hamstring injury which was aggravated in the Blues game. As such, Marcus Rashford could slot in the striker's role with Anthony Martial and Juan Mata likely candidates to flank the England international.
