Chelsea have reportedly identified Watford's Javi Gracia as their leading managerial target with Maurizio Sarri seemingly close to joining Juventus.
The Blues experienced a mixed campaign under the guidance of Maurizio Sarri last term, but they were still able to secure a top four spot while securing trophy success through the Europa League.
According to ESPN FC, the west London giants are bracing for the departure of head coach Sarri, who has seemingly made his mind up to join the Bianconeri this summer.
In recent days, ex-Juventus boss Max Allegri has been touted as a probable candidate for the role, but the publication reveals that the club are looking to end the trend of recruiting Italian managers.
The club are on course to part ways with Italian head coach in back-to-back seasons and it appears that they are keen on continuity by recruiting Gracia at the helm next campaign.
Gracia is presently the Hornets' longest-serving head coach in their Premier League history and he recently helped them reach the final of the FA Cup where they were convincingly beaten in the end.
