Kasper admits Man City exit

24 March 2008 - 10:42

Manchester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has admitted that he may be looking for a move away from his club this summer. Schmeichel has been playing on loan elsewhere, and is not happy about returning to the club and being on the bench.

  • Schmeichel said: "I am going to have a word with City to see what is going on. It might be that I will have to leave because Joe Hart is playing brilliantly and it is not the best for me.

"It's no fun when you are training and preparing for a game all week, then you warm up before the match and just sit there on the bench.

"I have three years left on my contract but I have a buy-out clause if the worst does come to the worst.

"If I don't think there is any chance at all for me at City then I might have to look at something else. But I won't be seeking advice from my father because I have got an agent."
