Paul Pogba has reportedly told Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he is fully committed to the footballing project at Manchester United despite stating that he wants a fresh challenge in June.
Earlier this summer, the Frenchman told reporters that he may consider a new challenge elsewhere and the notion was later shared by his agent Mino Raiola.
The 26-year-old midfielder has since refused to speak on his future but it appears that he has convinced to stay put with the Red Devils for the current campaign at the least.
According to The Mirror, the Frenchman has given assurances to Solskjaer that he won't push for a move to Real Madrid during a series of conversations with the Norwegian over pre-season.
Pogba made a slow beginning to the Premier League opener against Chelsea this evening, but he picked up his game during the second period where he contributed a couple of assists in a comfortable 4-0 triumph.
The victory has taken United right to the second spot on the table behind arch-rivals Manchester City on goal difference. They will face Wolverhampton Wanderers in their next game on the road on August 19.
