Inter Milan are understood to be planning a renewed attempt to sign Anthony Martial from Manchester United when the transfer window reopens.
The Frenchman was previously linked with a potential swap deal involving Ivan Perisic in the summer of 2018 but United were quite clear that the Frenchman was not for sale.
According to Tuttosport, the Serie A giants are bracing for the exit of Lautaro Martinez in the summer with Barcelona having identified him as the top target to act as the long-term successor to Luis Suarez.
The San Siro outfit signed both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from United to reinforce the attack last summer but the latter is expected to return to Old Trafford when his temporary deal expires in four months' time.
As such, it is claimed that Antonio Conte's side have the aim of landing Martial on a big-money deal this summer but it would definitely come as a huge surprise, if United are convinced to sell.
Martial is currently contracted to the Red Devils until the summer of 2024. He has netted 15 goals during the current campaign and has recently peaked with four goals from the previous three appearances.
