Barcelona defender Nelson Semedo is reportedly said to favour a move to the Premier League with Manchester City during the summer transfer window.
The Portugal international has declined to sign a new contract with the Spanish champions and he has been fancied to head through the exit door this summer.
Juventus and Inter Milan are some of the high-profile clubs, who have been linked with his services but the Cityzens are apparently leading the race to sign him.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Semedo is thrilled by the prospect of working under Pep Guardiola and he is keen to seal a move to the Etihad Stadium ahead of next season.
The Cityzens are banned from European club competitions for the next two years but the Portuguese is nonetheless open to joining the club, where he could compete for the right-back role alongside Kyle Walker.
Joao Cancelo is currently the back-up option for the Cityzens for the right-back position but he has been linked with a possible move to the Camp Nou as part of the deal for Semedo.
