Liverpool could look to land the services of Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, should Naby Keita head through the exit door.
Keita officially joined the Reds from RB Leipzig during the summer of 2018 and he has since struggled to cement a regular starting role ahead of the likes of Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum.
As a result, it has been reported that the Guinea international is considering his future with the Merseyside giants and he could pursue a fresh challenge at the end of the current campaign.
According to The Express, the Reds are likely to find a replacement, suppose Keita decides to leave the club and they have identified Neves as the prime target.
The Portugal international has remained committed to the west Midlands outfit since joining them in the Championship three years ago but he is likely to be the subject of interest from top European sides this summer.
Aside from the Reds, a number of Bundesliga clubs as well as AC MilanĀ have been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, who has made 125 appearances for Wolves in all competitions.
