Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling has been linked with a potential move to Barcelona during the January transfer window.
The England international has made six appearances for the Cityzens this season, but four of them have come from the bench.
According to Sport, the Blaugrana are keen to bolster their attacking department after the summer exit of Antoine Griezmann.
Sterling has been identified as a loan target. It is claimed that the 26-year-old would welcome a move to Camp Nou to secure regular minutes.
The attacker has less than two years remaining on his current contract, and he has yet to commit to a new deal at the Premier League champions.
While he would welcome a loan exit, Pep Guardiola will have the final say on his future. The Spaniard is likely to block a mid-season departure.
The Mancunian giants are likely to preserve a similar stance on Bernardo Silva, who was keen on leaving the club this summer.
