Chelsea duo N'Golo Kante and Ben Chilwell are major doubts for the upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester United.
The pair started the Champions League encounter against Juventus yesterday, but were substituted in the first and second half respectively.
Kante twisted his knee in the opening half, and he was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek, just seven minutes before the interval.
Meanwhile, Chilwell sustained a knee injury of his own. He was taken off in the 71st minute with Cesar Azpilicueta replacing him.
Speaking after the game, Thomas Tuchel confirmed injury blows for both players, and was hopeful that there is nothing serious.
The duo are now facing a race against time to face the Red Devils. The Blues could also be without Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz.
Kovacic is sidelined with a hamstring injury since the beginning of the month while Havertz sustained the same problem last week.
Havertz was not able to train ahead of the Juventus game, and he may not make the matchday squad on Sunday unless deemed fit.
