Everton have seemingly attempted to put Real Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona off of a summer transfer move for coveted Spanish centre midfielder Mikel Arteta after bumping up his transfer price.

  • It is believed that David Moyes has demanded £12 million to allow the former Real Sociedad star to leave, such is the importance of the player to his squad.



    The Everton boss is on the look out for new talent this summer and has reportedly told his board that he expects none of his current squad to leave in the summer transfer window.
