Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel remains determined on signing Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
The Blues recently parted ways with Timo Werner, and this has left Michy Batshuayi and Armando Broja as the only specialist strikers.
Among them, Batshuayi is expected to be sold soon, and Tuchel is said to be desperate to sign a new centre-forward before September 1.
According to Sport, he is keen on a reunion with Aubameyang, who was his leading star when they were together at Borussia Dortmund.
The Blaugrana are currently in the process of releasing Memphis Depay from his deal, and it has been suggested that they could keep Aubameyang.
However, Tuchel is still determined to sign the 33-year-old, and has urged owner Todd Boehly to make a good offer for the Gabon star.
Barcelona have plenty of financial concerns at the moment, and they could be tempted to sell Aubameyang for a package of around €20m.
Aubameyang was recently handed the number 17 shirt at the Spanish giants, but there continue to remain doubts over his future at the club.
