Chelsea are prepared to sanction the sale of Hakim Ziyech when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The Morocco international was heavily linked with AC Milan last summer, but the Blues put them off from signing him.
The west London giants wanted around €40m for his services and the Rossoneri were willing to pay just €25m.
Ajax also turned down the chance to re-sign Ziyech for the same reason, but the duo could get another chance in January.
The Blues' hierarchy are now prepared to sell Ziyech at a loss, given he has barely played over the course of this campaign.
He was out-of-favour under former boss Thomas Tuchel, and his situation does not seem to be improving with Graham Potter.
Hence, it appears best to sell him for the best price. Milan have been touted to revive their pursuit in the winter transfer window.
Ziyech missed the recent trip to AC Milan with an illness.
