Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Burnley, Sterling dropped

30 March 2024 - 14:07

Chelsea will be eyeing a second straight Premier League win when they host Burnley at Stamford Bridge today.

  • Man Utd star could be fit for the FA Cup final
  • Chelsea close in on signing Brazilian wonderkid

  • The Blues are currently 11th in the standings with 39 points and have the chance to climb into the top half with a victory.

    Predicted Line-up:

Djordje Petrovic has been brilliant between the sticks in recent months and he is expected to continue in goal this afternoon.

In front of him, there could be a couple of changes. Trevoh Chalobah won't be involved, having picked up an untimely injury.

We anticipate Thiago Silva to partner Axel Disasi in central defence.

Malo Gusto should start at right-back with Ben Chilwell replacing Marc Cucurella on the left side of the Blues backline.

In midfield, it should be a familiar set-up. Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are expected to continue in their roles.

Similarly, Conor Gallagher should feature in the number 10 position.

The only change in attack could be on the left wing with Mykhailo Mudryk coming in for Raheem Sterling, who has been out of form.

Cole Palmer is expected to start on the other flank with Nicolas Jackson leading the line.

The Senegalese needs to be careful. He is just a booking away from a two game suspension.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Gusto, Disasi, Silva, Chilwell; Caicedo, Fernandez; Palmer, Gallagher, Mudryk; Jackson.
