Arsenal defender Ben White could be sidelined for 10 to 12 weeks after undergoing a keyhole surgery in his knee.
The England international has been playing through the pain barrier for some time and the club recently permitted him to undergo a surgery.
It was initially revealed that he could be sidelined for eight weeks, but TNAT claims that the right-back could be out of action for 10 to 12 weeks.
The news is a huge blow for the Gunners, who have been reliant on White at right-back. He has formed a terrific understanding with Bukayo Saka.
In his absence, Jurrien Timber could move to the right side of the back four. Riccardo Calafiori is anticipated to return from his knee issue to start at left-back.
Takehiro Tomiyasu is also not far away from recovering from his knee problem. Like Timber, he has the ability to play anywhere in the Gunners defence.
Arsenal host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League next week.
