Mancini may leave Inter

24 May 2008 - 11:06

Roberto Mancini could be taking charge of Inter Milan for the last time in today's Coppa Italia final against Roma; after rumours have emerged that Jose Mourinho is believed to be ready to take charge at Inter next year.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • It appears today may be the last time Mancini is to take charge of the Nerrazurri, on a day where they could secure a superb league and cup double.

Massimo Moratti is known to be ready to allow Mancini to leave; as he continues his relentless pursuit of Mourinho.

"Mancini and I saw each other at training but only to celebrate," said Moratti.

"We drank a toast and celebrated the title and I believe that this title has an important place in our history.

"In this victory there was everything that Inter represents: drama, intensity and the isolation that in the end made us feel like heroes."
