Chelsea entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers in tonight's Premier League clash from Stamford Bridge.

  • Chelsea handed huge injury boost ahead of Wolves clash
  • 'It's painful': Enzo Maresca confirms fresh Chelsea injury blow

  • The Blues are on 17 points in the table and can temporarily climb to second in the standings with a victory.

    Formation: 4-2-3-1

    Predicted Line-up:

Robert Sanchez has been the undisputed goalkeeper for the Blues and has not made a significant error since his sending off against Manchester United. He is expected to start between the sticks.

In defence, Reece James and Marc Cucurella are poised to continue at right and left-back. There could be a complete reshuffle in central defence with Wesley Fofana and Trevoh Chalobah coming in for Jorrel Hato and Tosin Adarabioyo.

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez were early second-half subs in midweek against Qarabag. They are expected to return in central midfield. Andrey Santos will drop to the bench while Romeo Lavia is injured.

Further forward, Estevao Willian should continue on the right wing ahead of Pedro Neto, who has had one training session after a minor injury.

We anticipate Joao Pedro to feature again in the number 10 role. There could be changes elsewhere with Jamie Gittens and Tyrique George dropping to the bench.

Alejandro Garnacho should replace Gittens on the left wing, while Liam Delap could make his first league start since August upfront.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Wolves: Sanchez; James, Fofana, Chalobah, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Estevao, Pedro, Garnacho; Delap.
