Manchester United legend Roy Keane has sent his reaction after Arsenal secured a 1-0 Premier League win over West Ham United away from home on Sunday.

  • The Gunners boosted their title pursuit with a 1-0 victory over the Hammers in east London. Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the game in the 83rd minute.

West Ham felt they had equalised in the dying minutes of the encounter, but VAR intervened to nullify the goal after an evident foul on Gunners goalkeeper David Raya.

Speaking after the game, Keane said the victory should provide a lot of relief for Arsenal and added that they will be delighted to have got over the line with a bit of good luck.

He said: "A lot of relief for Arsenal of course. The way they finished the game. An emotional roller-coaster and they got the job done.

"The incident at the end where you need a little bit of luck, they kept a clean sheet. The game itself, the technical stuff wasn't great, there's going to be games where you just have to get through."

Arsenal are five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table after the win. The Cityzens still have a game in hand against Crystal Palace to be played at the Etihad Stadium in midweek.
