Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed a double injury blow after the Premier League win over West Ham United at the London Stadium.
The Gunners went five points clear at the top of the table after a 1-0 victory over the Hammers on the road. Leandro Trossard bagged the winner.
In the same game, Ben White was substituted midway through the opening half with a knee injury and was spotted with a brace in the second half.
Riccardo Calafiori was likewise substituted at the interval. The decision was deemed tactical at the time, but the Italian also picked up an injury.
Speaking after the derby win, Arteta said that Calafiori sustained a knock in the first half, which eventually contributed to his half-time substitution.
The Spanish tactician added to express concern over White's knee injury. The right-back will be assessed closely over the next 24 to 48 hours.
Judging by his reaction, White may have picked up a serious concern and he could be ruled out for the season and potentially the World Cup with England.
